A Note from a reader  re: Cuba's Medical? (not) system

Dianne Conway Writes:

For 9 years May 18, 1997, I have been haunted by a trip to Cuba. To help me try and forget, I have someone writing a book and an article for Newspapers. After a week at a 5 star hotel in Varadero, my husband collapsed in front of the airplane for return to Canada. Cuban medics came out but never took the stethoscope off the necks or bent over to touch him. We where thrown of an old truck and one of the soldiers, throw an oxygen mask on his face that did not stay there, as he was trying to take my husband's watch. I do not know where the military hospital is, as I was there 4 1/2 days before the government would allow me to have him airlifted to Miami Heart institute.

I have all the medical reports from Cuba, less than half a page, and 2 inches from 4 days at Miami Heart Institute. They photographed his body as all you did in Cuba was get his heart to beat again without even using gel. He was never washed, his buttocks were down to the bone. I have the photos they took when he arrived in Miami. They will certainly make an impact for future tourists. I was dragged to offices or somewhere by soldiers with rifles to sign papers or God knows what as I had not had anything to eat or drink for 2 days. My son a police officer came, and with his government of Canada's authority he demanded to see my husband. It was the first time I has seen my beloved Brian for two days. When I tried to get in, a gun was stuck in my stomach and I was throw out of the hospital We could not believe the way you had him tied down with rope, not covered with a sheet and flies all over him. As proper equipment had not be used, he has pieces of his tongue on his cheek. We were finally allowed to go to a hotel to shower for the first time in 3 days. You called us at 2 a.m. and told us he had taken a turn for the worst. Our taxi ride back was 20 minutes and then you refused to let us seem him. Finally after 4 1/2 days later you allowed us to air lift him out, Cancun to Miami. My son and I had to take a bus to Havana, fly to Nasua and then finally to the Miami Heart Institute. The notes said they had never seen a patient so badly abused. That is why I paid to have copies of all the photos and medical reports. Castro dragged a young man Elian out of a comfortable place back to a HELL WHOLE CALLED CUBA. He came home healthy and clean. My husband arrived home with his body rotten, organs shut down and a chest so burned from recesitation.

It has taken me a long time to get to the point where I was able to relive this story. Fidel Castro is Satan. I was very upset when the Pope the head of my Church went to Cuba. He didn't go to approve of Castro, but to try and save souls. Fidel Castro, I would love to meet face to face and show him his in humane treatment of a Canadian Citizen. If I can get this out I hope and pray your tourist industry will die, as my husband did after your torture. Nine years later and the torture and abuse still haunts me. The only way I can hope to forget is to inform other poor souls of what they can expect if they decide to go. God his holding my beloved husband, I don't care where Castro goes, but I hope it is somewhere where he is treated like he treated Brian. Dianne Conway widow of a wonderful Man who died at 54 before seeing one of his grandchildren.

The Four Principles of Gradualism

Step 1 – Create a problem.
Step 2 – Advertise the problem.
Step 3 – Offer your solution.
Step 4 – Effect a change.

Consider the following example:

  1. The original hidden agenda of a handful of people is to create chaos in America.

  2. Someone notes that a child was killed in an automobile accident.

  3. Someone notes that a dirty windshield may have impaired the vision of the driver.

  4. The possible link between dirty windshields and accidents is established.

  5. Eventually, an accident is noticed that was linked to poor vision and a dirty windshield.

  6. More accidents are noticed that could possibly be linked to dirty windshields.

  7. The news media picks up on the issue, especially those in on the hidden agenda.

  8. More and more accidents occur that resulted from, rightly or wrongly, dirty windshields.

  9. The link between dirty windshields and accidents now become fact.

  10. Some people now believe that the government should do something about this problem.

  11. Politicians join the parade, especially the insiders who know about the hidden agenda.

  12. Finally, politicians decide to pass a law, albeit a mild one, that addresses the matter.

  13. The new law requires that Americans must wash their windshields once a month for the benefit of society. (Who could possibly disagree?)

  14. The law gradually becomes more restrictive, from once a month, to once a week, to once a day, and finally once an hour.

  15. The laws are enforced rigorously by bureaucrats using your tax money.

  16. The massive windshield washing in the streets becomes chaotic and creates traffic jams.

  17. Drivers and the public become disgusted.

  18. Regulatory gridlock develops and nothing can be done about the situation.

  19. The public, politicians, and news media talk about the situation, but nothing changes.

  20. The government now is in total control of the traffic, and more regulations are passed.

  21. The original hidden agenda of creating chaos in the streets has been accomplished.

  22. The American public is bewildered.

  23. The American public is enslaved.
