Yesterday an unbelievable vision of carnage unfolded before my eyes.

Early on I like many thought that some weird accident happened at the World Trade Center. I thought a plane had lost control and crashed into The WTC. Then as the Morning progressed I was shocked that another plane had hit and unknown to me both towers had collapsed.

It was war and I was watching it unfold. It was unbelievable that this could happen here in the US. What had happened that hijackers could hijack 2 commercial airliners ... then 2 more reported hijacked. One diving into the Pentagon and one crashing in PA. The last Probably brought down in a rural forest by the passengers who said no way are you going to crash this into Camp David or the White House. Even when faced with certain death Americans stand tall. They probably saved many lives by attacking the hijackers.

Digressing I thought of the incidents that got us into WW1 & WW2. First the Lusitania sent into harms way knowing full well that it was a target for German U boats. A sacrifice to draw the US into WW1.

Then pearl Harbor. Roosevelt knew Japan was going to attack, communicaes were deliberately kept from the commanders Kimmel and Short leaving Pearl defenseless and unsuspecting. Over 2500 servicemen lost their lives. The anger pulled the US into WW2. No one suspected that this treachery went o the highest levels of government.

Now the WTC. An act of war has been commented against the US. Did we have prior warning? If we did have prior warning why didn't we act to prevent this horrible act. Or was this just another history lesson not learned. Was and is this terrible attack used to foment the American resolve to entangle us in another war another world war? I pray our officials were caught off guard. Unconscable but far better that allowing this tragedy to happen for some unknown political gain.

What political gain could possibly come of this carnage?

Political gain would not be measured in elections won, although elections will be won and lost with votes cast in congress over this event. No political gain will be measured in liberties lost. The carnage is already taking it's toll on Americas liberties. No longer will air travel be the same. Long lines, more time, more hassle will be the norm. Make no mistake, if you limit the ability for citizens to move around freely they have lost a major freedom.

Other talk about giving up other freedoms to be safer are already being bandied about by some so called " experts " on the news shows.

We must not lose any freedoms because of this event. Indeed we must be given more liberties. If we do not then the terrorists have won.

Asking for help from NATO is another mistake. For the more we are submerged in world organizations the more sovereignty we lose. The United States must act with impunity and swift retaliation to eradicate those that would comment these acts. Surgical strikes are out of the question. wide spread destruction and carnage is what these people understand. We must bring it home to them NOW!

And what of the group that comments this in the name of religion. What religion would want innocent lives sacrificed for their beliefs? Only a perverted religion. Is there a religion that commands their followers to kill and maim others at will for no other reason than for their God? I know of no god that would do that except satin. The Muslim religion does not command followers to do these acts The fact is a few radicals have brainwashed a few loonies to believe that Allah has commanded them to comment these acts. The way I see it these radicals have been operating for the devil himself. Little do they realize that instead of sitting at the right hand of Allah they will be cast into the lake of eternal fire mentioned in Revelations. This is the devils reward. Make no mistake it is coming. The people of the Muslim faith must unite to remove these wild men from there myst.

Attack: Known or Not?

With the attack on the World Trade center and the collapse of the buildings and the carnage that followed, Ournation feels that there was no way that the officials of the US government could not have known that this was going to happen.

The attack on the WTC could not have happened in a vacuum. This was a large almost in the open, planned attack. The support for such an attack must have had many signs in many countries. It was world wide in it's planning with many cells taking part.

Financing was huge as the terrorists needed housing, flight training, manuals of the controls. They needed knowledge of airports that were lax on security. Intimate knowledge of how the passengers would act and how to control those that would offer resistance.

Controlling passengers would be paramount to their success. This writer wonders why there were so few passengers on the flights that were hijacked. After all, these were cross country flights and are usually booked full. It is a possibility that the hijackers purchased many seats, knowing that paid "no shows" would increase their control over the passengers. If so why wasn’t this noticed by the airlines?

With all these signs it is incredible that an attack of this magnitude could be pulled off ... unless it was hidden from officials by an internal agency.

Why not stop this terrible attack?

Actions do not happen in a vacuum. It has long been known that high officials within the government want a global form of government. The United Nations and the Council On Foreign Relations have been preaching this for decades. Remember these are the powerful officials that care little for human life ... just power.

A world coalition against terrorism to wipe it out would show that we need to depend on the world not just any one country.

US citizens would give up some of their freedoms, for safety, with an attack of this magnitude. Even if they did not the government could arbitrary curtail freedoms and make life just a little tougher for Americans. This is already happening. The US government is now in a commanding position to dictate to the world what it expects.

Fly the Flag

Well it was predictable.

After the rally round the flag the of the last week the predictable anti-flag politically correct crowd has begun to flex its muscle.

Reports of banners and flags being taken down because it might offend someone are coming in from all over the country and the world.

ABC (AMERICAN Broadcasting Company) has asked that news readers not wear American flag lapel pins. Reuters news agency has made it known that they should not refer to the terrorists as terrorists but as something else. They are concerned that they will label group(s) falsely.

Then there are the strange stories of homeland anti-flag waving. The two black Muslims firefighters who would not ride an engine that was flying the flag, the librarian at a Florida university who would not allow signs of patriotism.

Most have been corrected except for the news agencies. By the way Michael Isner (Disneyland) CEO runs ABC.

This writers comment ... to hell with them all.

Let’s not watch ABC News. Also lets boycott Disneyland. Disneyland, long the American icon has lost much of its American wholesome air anyway. Lets show them that if their afraid that being American might offend someone after the Sept. 11th attack then they need not do business in America.

Then there is congress. For the most, part doing a fine job in the wake of the attack. But the parties bias starts to raise it's head.

As the need to beef up security in and on airplanes is obvious, some are doing the backstroke.

This writer has noted in other articles that the old west was a polite society. Why? because anyone that wanted to was packing a sidearm. What would make me feel safer on a flight? Knowing that the flight crew in the cockpit had side arms and would takeout anyone that would be foolish enough to hijack the plane.

Most of the crew that flies jetliners are ex-military and would have carried a sidearm while in the service. The fear that we could not trust these folks with our lives they hold in their hands anyway is ridiculous.

Congressman Gebhart does not want to go there because it would kill any hope of removing firearms from the citizens, a long time dream of the left. But for some un known reason neither did President Bush.

The Taliban Mindset

As the war against terror heats up we are seeing more and more about the plight of the Afghan peoples.

We see that they are poor undernourished and for the most part not educated. What better subjects for mind manipulation god has not created.

With conditions and subjects like this the Taliban could rule with complete authority. Under educated destitute peoples always being easy to manipulate will do the bidding of an authority figure.

Conditions make it easy to hate those that have more and for the leaders easy to make an enemy out of any country.

However it's easy to see the Taliban is no more than a thuggery government that oppresses it's subjects. Using the Koran as some kind of legal document for man it uses this as reason for oppression and a tight hold on it's people.

It's obvious to any that look at the peoples shown on television news shows that the government is an attempt to oppress mankind in a most terrible way.

By brainwashing it's subjects with their twisted word of God, they suppress freedom. Basic human rights are non-existent, as is of course any right to question the actions of the government. The oppressed do not have the right to trial. If found guilty by the rulers your punished, or worse killed.

I watched the execution of a woman accused of killing her husband being forced to knell in a public place and being shot in the head. Woman are terribly oppressed. Not allowed to show their face in public, kept inside as a baby making machine, not allowed to have an education, beaten for the slightest infraction of these rules. Woman of the world should unite against any practice of the sort. This is quite clearly a government ruled by men who are insecure.

Two months after the 9-11 attacks, we now see the Taliban in full retreat – good news, no doubt. We also see a flood of legislation, potential legislation, and authoritative directives to "solve the problems at home". As usual, we manage to miss the salient points:

1. Our freedoms, rights, liberties, and privileges are GOD GIVEN.
2. The United States Constitution promises full protection of our GOD GIVEN freedoms, rights, liberties, and privileges.
3. The U. S. Constitutional promise of full protection is extended only to the citizens of The United States of America.
4. Non citizens are simply visitors here and should persuade their homeland governments to provide them protection of their GOD GIVEN freedoms, rights, liberties, and privileges. These non citizens should be allowed to visit here only at our discretion and should adopt manners customary for well behaved visitors during their limited stay.
5. The United States of America has no constitutional requirement to tolerate, pamper, or financially support those that have illegally crossed our borders or somehow inadvertently washed ashore. Any alien (visitor) who plans or commits crimes or abuses or misuses our great country and its hospitality in any way whatsoever should expect harsh and certain punishment.

Oh yes, it is true that this great country was built by immigrants. Those immigrants were typically running from countries and governments that failed to protect their GOD GIVEN freedoms, rights, liberties, and privileges. Their thirst for freedom and liberty caused them to quickly join the main stream of American life, become citizens, and demand that the country be operated in strict accordance with the Constitution. These Americans rank amongst the best and proudest. We need to promptly return to the basic tenets of our great country. We need to immediately reject the liberal beliefs that have resulted in serious dilution of the constitutional protections of your and my GOD GIVEN freedoms, rights, liberties, and privileges.

If we look at the recent flood of proposed legislation, each typically involves a requirement that we sacrifice freedoms, rights, liberties, and privileges (Yes, the GOD GIVEN ones) to realize security. This scheme is, of course, both absurd and flawed – reflect on the words of Benjamin Franklin (November 11, 1755):

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety"

Old Ben’s words may be more important today than ever before in your lifetime.
